My favorites from my first drawing class. I really enjoyed the class and did much better than I thought I would. I had an excellent teacher and my classmates were fun and quirky like me.

Abstraction Drawing:
One of my favorite assignments in my class.
I spent over 8 hours on this drawing.

Abstract drawing from my sketchbook.
Self-Portrait: Grandma Bonhist and ShiloI had a hard time on my self-portrait in class (Not pictured here) so on the weekend I made a self-portrait of half of my face and half of my Grandmother Bonhist's face.
I am still struggling with faces. It's hard to get the right proportion.

Unique Perspective:
This is an assignment where we were to find a unique perspective somewhere in our environment. I'm not statisfied with how it turned out. I might draw it again and draw the squares individually as per the advice of my peers. The stovepipe turned out good though.

Figure 1: Abstract Landscape:
We had a nude model the last week of class and were instructed to draw the model as an abstracted landscape. Can you see it?

Figure 2
Same model as above in a different position. The symbol on her back was her tattoo. I like how the feet turned out.
Figure 3:this is a different model from the drawings above. This was a quick drawing and I think we only had about 7 minutes to draw. You can see I struggled with the hands and feet (as usual). My favorite part is the hair.
Figure 4:This turned out okay and we had a lot longer to draw. Maybe next term I'll be able to add faces. I still struggle with getting all of the body on the page. Although I like the fact that the bodies have not face. We're not sure who the body belongs to and can't get wrapped up in their face.
